Leslie Rodriguez-McClellon Named Seventeenth President of Arkansas Baptist College

Little Rock, Arkansas– Arkansas Baptist College (ABC) has announced the appointment of Dr. Leslie Rodriguez-McClellon as its seventeenth president. Dr. Rodriguez-McClellon, a seasoned academic leader and advocate for educational equity, will assume her new role on July 1, 2023.

Dr. Rodriguez-McClellon brings extensive experience in higher education administration, having served as provost and vice president for Academic Affairs at Philander Smith College in Little Rock since 2018. Her leadership has been instrumental in enhancing academic programs, fostering faculty development, and promoting student success. Prior to her role at Philander Smith, she held leadership positions at institutions like Texas A&M University-Commerce and the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
